OK, so I just made toothpaste....
I used coconut oil, baking soda, neem oil, peppermint oil and glycerin. I tried it and found it to have an interesting texture. Not sure if Camille will like it - she is not a fan of peppermint toothpaste to begin with and it's a little gritty - so maybe I will need to try another one with a different flavor for her. We'll see how it goes!

So here it is, the end of January, and it finally looks like winter in New England! Personally, I hate the snow and am looking forward to the Spring already! We have a cold frame that Dan built which is allowing us to have fresh greens, even in the winter! I do think I like the garden better in the summertime though; it's looking a bit non-productive at the moment....
Here are a few pictures... _“A farm has its own spirituality that gives immense meaning and pleasure. It can’t be measured in acres or the quantity of animals and crops. A farm is a spiritual thing that feeds your soul, as its spirituality pours out of every outbuilding and bale of hay. Nothing is more tangible and sensuous than a farm, and yet it is also full of spirit.” -Thomas Moore
Thank you for stopping by today! This is the place where we will keep you up to date on what happens on the farm, in the garden and in the kitchen. Stay tuned....!
