Hi guys,
During the time that I have been keeping to my home because of this virus that has a hold on us, I have been doing some thinking and working on some changes to myself, my studio and my business as a whole. I have been doing things the same for almost 5 years now and I am feeling the need to make some adjustments that go with the personal adjustments I am making. Please follow me on my Facebook page and subscribe to my YouTube channel as I will be doing most of my notifying that way. I am missing my yoga classes at the studio and hope that you are all practicing at home until we can all be together again! Looking forward to my upcoming changes and I appreciate your patience while I adjust!

Hi Guys!!
So this wooden display was gifted to me by a friend (reuse!!!!!). It was just plain, untreated wood so I was able to make it my own by painting it. Dan was also able to print out a label for it with his new white ink. I am very happy with how it came out! I have always carried essential oils in my little shop at the studio but wanted to carry a fuller line that would hopefully satisfy all your needs. Aromatherapy can be a big part of your healing process if done safely and with thought. Many years go I completed a Level II course with Jade Schutes and learned, in depth, how to work the magic of a plants essential oil into my natural wellness ideas! I do not sell for, or work with, any specific company so you can be assured I am not just selling oils. I am here to educate you if you are looking to learn how to use these safely and effectively. I only wish to offer you good quality oils from many different brands that I trust! Contact me if you would like to learn more of if I can get a certain oil for you. Also, stop by the shop before or after a class or workshop and see what we have for sale! Hi all! I am currently getting over bronchitis. Everyone around me is coughing and hacking and sniffling and whatnot!!! I was bound to catch something! The only difference is, I healed myself naturally...
As soon as I felt the jaws of illness close in on me I went to bed. All I did was rest and drink water with lots of lemon, hot tea with lots of honey and my own bone broth. I did that for two days and then on day three I started to eat - very little. Drink is more important than food when ill so don't ever push the food. I started light with soups only. I took long, hot showers with eucalyptus oil sprinkled in so the vapors cleared my nose and lungs so I cold get out as much junk as possible while in the shower. Little by little I got better, added more foods, kept up with some fire cider and echinacea tincture. I am feeling great now with only a residual cough. Point being, you know you. I know I hate any OTC medicines and feel I do not need them. I took care of myself while I was sick and got over it much faster than most others dealing with winter illnesses. Tips and hints when sick with cold/flu/bronchial issues: 1. Lots of fluids! Water with lemon, teas with honey and broth. 2. Lots of rest! It does a body good to not over do it when you are trying to heal. Let your body do its thing. 3. Keep boosting the immune system! Take extra elderberry or echinacea tinctures and also your fire cider. Lots of extra Vit. C and avoid sugar and dairy at all costs! 4. Hot showers! The steam is invaluable for bronchial issues, feeling free to add some drops or rosemary, mint, tea tree or eucalyptus oils to your shower (being careful not to put drops where you walk or stand so you do not slip). Feel better!!! Hey all...
It has been a long while since I have placed a blog post or vlog and I apologize; it has been a crazy year! I will be starting to vlog more often and will be posting the videos here. These vlogs will include yoga, nutrition, meditations, spirituality and so much more randomness. I am planning a Q&A video soon so if you have any questions you want answered please send them to me here or on Facebook or Instagram on any of my posts and I will gladly answer the ones that I can! I will also be placing recipe blogs here as well. These blog recipes will feature clean, whole foods that you are bound to love! There will be lots to share with you coming up so subscribe where you see me and stay tuned! I have made this video to explain a little about elderberry syrup and how to make it! It is a wonderful berry that is a powerhouse for boosting your immune system. You need this now that the kiddos are back in school and it is cold and flu season. Watch and subscribe! Hi All! It has been a while since i have posted here - there has been a lot going on and I am left with little time to sit down and blog but I am making the time today to catch up on things! I have been working hard to complete my 500 yoga teacher training at the same time as my Reflexology certification and have now completed both! I am a perpetual student of natural wellness and am now wondering what to take on next; any thoughts???? We have hard a tough spring with the crazy amount of gypsy moth caterpillars we ended up with. Most of our trees were damaged so no large fruit tree yields this yeah. That and the heat with very little rain is doing a number on the great outdoors. This makes me sad because of my love for canning things. We did get quite a few black raspberries so I am sure those will become something. I am hoping my local farmer's markets will be able to supply what I need so I can get some good things canned. My thoughts are to do quite a bit of meals like stews and meats in my pressure canner so we have plenty of our own food to eat and not have to rely so much on the supermarket for quick dinners. I am really trying to cut down on bread items but want to get back to baking my own when we do need it. There is a new flock of chickens on our farm including a rooster who seems to be fitting in nicely with our current one. They each have there own set of girls to care for so it works out nicely. The Natural Wellness Studio is going along quite nicely as well! I have 3 yoga classes per week and am fitting in a private session here and there. Reflexology is a service I am now providing and can schedule those so contact me if interested! Make sure you check out the Facebook page and my website tabs to find out more! I do have some products available, mostly right at my studio. My products are not the biggest part of what I do but I have things here and there for you. There is some soap, salves like lip balm, Relief Salve, Vapor Balm, and Antiseptic stick. There are smudging needs like sage bundles and palo santo wood as well as room and body sprays! Lastly, my YouTube channel is up and running so head on over and subscribe so you can keep up on the info being provided there! I will be back once I get to canning! I will also be posting some pictures soon as well. I hope everyone is enjoying this month of holidays! Just one more to go for me - New Year's Eve is also sometimes filled with lots of goodies that are sweet and fatty!
